About this trip
Twenty-nine days on the ground between Vienna and Dubrovnik, moving through nine countries by train and public transport. This is a deep run through Central Europe's history, from imperial Vienna to the wartime sites of Poland, the mountains of Slovakia and Montenegro, and down to the Adriatic coast.
