About this trip
This is a family safari from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara, built around 4WD game drives and time with Maasai communities along the way. You travel through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at Lake Naivasha and Crater Lake before reaching the Mara.
It's a participatory camping trip, so you and your family pitch in with setting up tents, cooking and cleaning alongside the group. Evenings are spent at camp with other families, with swimming pools at most stops for the kids to burn off energy.
One night is spent at a basic bush camp in the Loita Hills with cold showers and no wifi, traded for a closer look at Maasai culture.
