About this trip
A 12-day overland trip through South Africa and Eswatini built for families with teenagers, mixing city, culture and wildlife. You start in Soweto to get a sense of South Africa's history before heading out into game reserves and national parks.
Days are spent tracking the Big Five, kayaking, and visiting a community homestay, with travel between stops in a private group vehicle. It's a hands-on trip — you camp as you go and pitch in with the group.
Expect close quarters, shared chores and long days on the road between wildlife stops, balanced by some genuinely wild landscapes and animal encounters.
