Ten days across Azerbaijan and Georgia, two countries where futuristic skylines sit next to old stone towns and mountain monasteries. You will move from Baku's modern architecture to the ancient rock carvings at Qobustan, then cross into Georgia for medieval ruins, wine country and Caucasus scenery.

It is a sightseeing-led trip with a fair bit of ground covered, mixing city time with village life. A home-cooked lunch with a Kakheti family and a hike up to Gergeti Trinity Church give you a break from the coach window and a closer look at how people actually live here.
