About this trip
A private, guided loop through Transylvania that starts and ends in Bucharest, with your hotel pickup and drop-off sorted. Over five days you work your way from castles and fortresses to quiet villages, with a guide alongside you the whole time.
The route takes in the medieval centres of Brasov and Sighisoara, the castles at Bran and Hunedoara, and slower stops in Viscri and Biertan where daily life still runs on old rhythms. There's also a visit to Europe's largest bear sanctuary and stops at Rasnov Fortress and Snagov Monastery along the way.
You'll spend four nights in a traditional Romanian pension, including a 3-course dinner in Sibiel, with breakfast included throughout. Being a private tour, the pace can flex around what you want to see.
