About this trip
Eight days through Yunnan, built around China's minority cultures and some of its most striking landscapes. This runs as a private tour for you and your group only, with the itinerary shaped around what you actually want to see.
You move through karst country, lakeside villages and old trading towns, taking in Bai and Naxi culture along the way, finishing up near Shangri-La.
What you'll do
- See the karst peaks of the Stone Forest and browse a local farmers' market
- Visit Erhai Lake and a traditional Bai house
- Wander the UNESCO-listed old town of Lijiang, close to 1,000 years old
- Take in the landscape around Shangri-La
- Private and fully guided, with the itinerary customised to your group
- Suits families or small parties wanting their own pace rather than a fixed group tour
- Covers several distinct regions in 8 days, so expect a fair amount of travel between stops
