About this trip
Fifteen days moving through four Central Asian countries, from Kyrgyzstan's mountains and lakes to the cities of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The route covers a lot of ground, so this suits you if you want breadth over lingering in one place.
You start in Bishkek and work through Kyrgyzstan's gorges, valleys and villages before crossing into Kazakhstan for Almaty and Charyn Canyon. From there you fly to Dushanbe in Tajikistan, then head north to Khujand before finishing in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Guided throughout, with private rooms and an easy pace in terms of physical demand, though the itinerary itself covers a wide sweep of geography in a short time.
