Tsingy of Bemaraha -Kirindy & Baobab Safari top discovery

This is an 8-day road trip through western Madagascar, taking in some of the country's most striking landscapes and wildlife. You travel overland by car, moving through Antsirabe and Miandrivazo before reaching the wilder, more remote west.

Kirindy Forest is the wildlife highlight, home to the fossa, Madagascar's largest predator, along with lemurs and nocturnal creatures on night walks. From there you head to Tsingy de Bemaraha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its razor-sharp limestone pinnacles, before finishing at the Avenue of the Baobabs.

It's a guided small-group trip suited to travellers who want nature and scenery over cities, and who don't mind covering long distances by road to get there.
