Tsiribihina River Trip

This is a multi-day river journey through western Madagascar, travelling by boat down the Tsiribihina River and camping on its banks as you go.

The days are shaped by the river itself — forested banks and cliffs sliding past, lemurs and crocodiles spotted along the way, and stops in remote villages where you get a real sense of local life away from the coast.

There's time built in for swimming in natural pools and waterfalls off the river route, making this one for travellers who want Madagascar's wilderness up close rather than from a coach window.
