About this trip
Eleven days across three of Brazil's headline landscapes: Rio's beaches and mountains, the thundering Iguazu Falls, and the Amazon rainforest. It's a classic first-timer's route through the country, covering coast, waterfall and jungle without trying to do it all at once.
You'll start in Rio, taking in the city's setting beneath Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf, before flying on to Iguazu to see the falls up close. The trip ends with a stay in the Amazon, giving you a proper stretch of time among the rainforest's wildlife and rivers rather than a rushed day trip.
Domestic flights between the three regions are included, and the pace is set up as a private, partially guided journey, so you get some structure without being tied to a big group throughout.
What you'll do
- See Christ the Redeemer and Rio's skyline from Corcovado
- Explore Rio's beaches and colonial city sights
- Visit the Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side
- Stay in the Amazon rainforest surrounded by local flora and fauna
- Domestic flights connect Rio, Iguazu and the Amazon
- Private, partially guided format, so some days run with more independence than others
- Best visited June to October
- Covers three distinct regions, so expect a fair amount of flying between stops
