About this trip
A ten-day journey through China that puts food at the centre of the sightseeing, from dumplings in Shanghai to duck in Beijing and pandas in Chengdu. You move through four of the country's big draws — Shanghai, the Great Wall, Xi'an and Chengdu — with cooking and eating built into each stop rather than bolted on.
This is a private, fully guided trip, so it runs on your own schedule with a tour leader alongside you throughout. It suits families, groups of friends, or colleagues travelling together, and the pace is easy rather than rushed.
