About this trip
A private, guided route across four of Japan's biggest names, starting in Tokyo and finishing in Osaka, with Kyoto and Nara in between. You travel by bullet train and have a dedicated guide and driver throughout, so the logistics are taken care of and the pace stays relaxed.
Tokyo gives you the mix of old and new the city's known for, before you move to Kyoto for its temples, gardens and the Gion district. A stop in Nara brings you face to face with the resident deer and Todai-ji Temple's scale.
It ends in Osaka, where the appeal is street food, buzzing neighbourhoods and Osaka Castle. With accommodation, meals, tickets and transport included, this suits travellers who want a well-organised look at classic Japan without planning it themselves.
