About this trip
Three countries, three very different landscapes, in one 21-day run: Morocco, Egypt and Jordan back to back. It's a trip built around the big names — Marrakech, Giza, Petra — rather than off-the-beaten-track detours.
Expect souks and medinas, ancient temples and tombs, and desert scenery, with local food and guides filling in the history as you go.
This is a group trip with parts independently guided, so you'll travel with others but not have a guide glued to your side the whole way.
What you'll do
- Wander the souks of Marrakech
- Stand before the Pyramids of Giza
- Explore the ancient site of Petra
- Sample traditional cooking in each country
- Cover three distinct countries and cultures in one trip
- Three countries in 21 days means a fast pace and regular moving on
- Partially guided — some sections you'll explore with more independence than others
- Suited to those who want a broad overview of the region rather than deep time in one place
Worth it if you want three countries thoroughly covered with genuinely excellent guides and seamless logistics. Think twice if you're sensitive to budget hotel maintenance or prefer tipping to be pre-sorted.
- Named guides (Mansour, Mohammed, Max, Ibrahim, Sayel, Mamoun) consistently praised as knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely invested in your experience.
- Standout moments—Sahara night, camel sunset, Petra, Wadi Rum hidden spots—feel authentic and memorable, not rushed tick-box tourism.
- Dead Sea hotels (Radisson, Ramada) reported as dirty, poorly maintained pools, broken beach shuttles—low-season neglect, though operator fixed on complaint.
- Tipping etiquette unclear with rotating guides and drivers; inclusion in total price would spare daily mental maths and confusion.
