About this trip
Nine days tracing Egypt's ancient story, from the pyramids of Giza to the temples along the Nile, with a guide on hand throughout.
You start in Cairo, taking in the Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the older quarters of the city, before heading north to Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast. The trip then turns south for a Nile cruise between Aswan and Luxor, threading past temples and riverside scenery.
It's a well-rounded first look at Egypt — history-heavy but paced for comfort, and suited to families or groups travelling together.
