About this trip
Seven days across Vietnam, from Hanoi in the north down to Saigon in the south, taking in the limestone landscapes of Ninh Binh, a cruise on Halong Bay, and the history and pace of the south.
You start with the countryside around Hoa Lu and Trang An, boat through Mua Cave, then head out to Halong Bay before flying south to Saigon, where the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta round things out.
It's a fairly full itinerary that covers a lot of ground in a week, well suited to those wanting a first overview of Vietnam rather than a slow, single-region stay.
