About this trip
Seven days that pack in Hanoi, the limestone valleys south of the city, a couple of days trekking around Sapa, and an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. It moves fast and covers a lot of ground, so expect early starts and a fair bit of driving between stops.
The middle stretch is the highlight — a limousine transfer up to Sapa for short treks through the terraced hill country, before heading back to Hanoi and straight out again to Halong Bay for a night on the water.
Good for anyone who wants a proper introduction to northern Vietnam without spending weeks planning the route themselves.
