About this trip
Two days that take you from Peru's coastline into the desert, ending with a flight over one of the country's strangest ancient sites. It's a short, well-paced escape that covers a lot of ground without feeling rushed.
You start in Paracas, taking in the coastal scenery, then move on to Ica and the desert dunes of Huacachina. The trip builds towards a flight over the Nazca Lines, the huge geometric figures etched into the desert floor that have puzzled archaeologists for decades.
It's a good fit if you want a quick hit of Peru's desert and coast without committing to a longer itinerary, with a bit of adventure and a genuinely unusual sight thrown in.
