About this trip
Ten days across Peru and Brazil, covering the two big names most people have on a list: Machu Picchu and Rio. It moves fast but hits the key sights properly rather than skimming past them.
You start in Lima, then fly to Cusco to acclimatise and explore the old Inca capital before the main event — Machu Picchu itself. Back in Cusco there's time for more of the region's history and a hike up to Rainbow Mountain. The trip closes out with a shift in gear entirely: Copacabana Beach, Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf in Rio.
It's a partially guided trip with domestic flights and transport handled for you, so the logistics of covering three very different places in ten days aren't left to you to figure out.

- Explore Cusco's old town and colonial-Inca architecture
- Visit the Machu Picchu citadel
