1. Sail & Swim: Croatia - Split to Split

This trip was previously called Croatian Riviera. It’s got a new name, but you can expect the same gorgeous swim stops and good times.

You’ll cruise the Dalmatian Coast aboard a pirate-style boat named Moja Maja and enjoy a private chef during your cruise.

You’ll be on a traditional style boat, so passenger numbers are capped at 24.

If you’re after a more luxurious ship, check out the Sail & Swim: Croatia – Split to Split (Plus) cruise below.

The only differences are a fancier ship, a bigger passenger capacity (36 people) and the price is higher due to the premium ship upgrade.

3. Adriatic Sunsets

This one-way Topdeck sail Croatia tour is the most popular and affordable Croatia Sail routes available.

You can choose between the Split to Dubrovnik route or Dubrovnik to Split – whichever you go for; this Topdeck Adriatic Sunsets trip takes seven nights island-hopping to the hottest ports on the Croatia coastline.

Adriatic Sunsets is the only Topdeck Croatia sail to visit Bol and Stari Grad, so if these are on your bucket list, then this is your only option – unless you wanted to jump ship to Contiki.

Other destinations include Makarska, Hvar, Korčula and Mljet before sailing onto your final port – either Split or Dubrovnik.

Because of the popularity of the Topdeck Adriatic Sunsets route, you can expect an extra ten passengers onboard compared to the Dubrovnik Dreams route.

There are also five ships on offer with traditional (Moja Maja, Toma & Petrina) and premium (Meridijan & Pape Prvi) options available.

You’ll spend one night in each port of call along the rugged Croatian coastline with all the big-ticket stops including Makarska, Split, Hvar, Korčula, Šipan and Mljet.

Topdeck’s Dubrovnik Dreams runs two ships on this route with ‘Petrina’, a traditional ship or for about $530 (£260) more you can upgrade to the premium ship ‘Leonardo’.

I've been telling people that this is a must do. The country is beautiful and Topdeck is a great way to see it. The breakfast and lunch provided was excellent and all Topdeck crew were wonderful. The rooms were great too with your own toilet.

This trip was amazing. it had it all from a sail, sun, beaches, partying, learning about culture and experiencing one of the best festivals in the world. This trip had the right amount of down time and partying and was honestly the best thing I've ever done. The age groups on the trip were also a mix, the included meals were heaps better than other trips I've been on!
