About this trip

Six days across central Chile, moving between the capital and the coast. You start in Santiago, a city that mixes modern high-rises with green parks and a sprawl of highways, then head out to Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, the two faces of the Chilean coastline — one a working port city of steep hills, the other a tidier seaside resort.

There's also time in wine country, with a vineyard visit built into the trip. It's a sightseeing-led, coach-based journey, easy-going and suited to families or anyone who wants the highlights of this stretch of Chile without organising the logistics themselves.

  • Wander the hillside streets of Valparaíso
  • Take in the coast at Viña del Mar
  • Visit a vineyard in the Chilean wine region
