About this trip
Ten days of birdwatching in Gambia, a small country that packs in a serious range of habitats within short distances of each other. Over 540 species have been recorded here, and the tour is built around getting you close to as many as possible without long transfers eating into your days.
It's fully guided throughout and pitched at an easy pace, so you can take it in whether you're a dedicated birder with a life list or simply someone who enjoys being out in nature.
The focus stays on the birds and their environments rather than ticking off tourist sights, which makes it a fairly quiet, observation-led trip.
