Ten days moving through six places between Jaipur and Udaipur, staying in forts and palaces still owned and run by the families who once ruled them.
Food here comes from the same houses — slow-cooked recipes passed down through the family rather than a standard hotel menu. Evenings bring folk dances and puppet shows, the kind of entertainment these households have long put on for guests.
