from Budapest to Dubrovnik - A Heritage Adventure - Small Group Tour

Nine days, six countries — this is a fast sweep from Budapest down through Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro, ending in Dubrovnik. It's a lot of ground to cover, and each day tends to bring a new city or border.

Along the way you take in Corvin Castle, the medieval old town of Sibiu, and the legend-heavy Bran Castle in Romania, before Bucharest, Sofia and Skopje give you a run of capital cities. Matka Canyon, Prizren and Tirana keep things varied before the trip winds down on Kotor's bay and finally Dubrovnik's old walls.

You travel with a small group, guided throughout, with local partners handling drivers and transfers. Some travellers join or leave partway through, so the group itself shifts a bit as you go.
