About this trip
This is a fast-moving loop through the Balkans, starting and looping back through Zagreb before pushing on to Dubrovnik and Kotor. In a week you cover Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Montenegro, so expect a new base most nights rather than time to settle in.
The route mixes big-name sights — Lake Bled, Plitvice, Dubrovnik's old walls — with smaller stops like Mostar's bridge and the waterfalls at Kravica. It's a small group setup, and other travellers may join or leave partway through, so the group itself shifts as you go.
Transfers between cities are handled for you, with local guides and drivers along the route. It suits people who want a lot of ground covered and don't mind standards varying a bit from one country to the next.
