E-Bike Tour in Albania Self

An 8-day self-guided e-bike route across Albania, from the shores of Lake Ohrid to the Ionian Coast, taking in mountains, river valleys and old stone towns along the way.

You start by the calm waters of Lake Ohrid and the farming country around Korça, then climb into the Gramoz Mountains near the Greek border before dropping into the Shelegur Forest and following the Vjosa River, with the Nemercka and Dhembel ranges as a backdrop. The route continues to Gjirokastër, a UNESCO World Heritage town of stone houses and a hilltop castle, before finishing along the coast.

With an e-bike doing some of the work, the climbs — including the pass at Llogara — are manageable at a moderate pace, and you're riding self-guided with a private room each night.

What you'll do
