About this trip

Three days combining the Panorama Route's viewpoints with game drives in and around Kruger National Park, tracking the big five: elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo.

It's a fully guided small-group trip, so you're not driving yourself or planning the route — just showing up ready to look at scenery and wildlife.

Good for families and mixed groups, though there's a bit of logistics to plan around before you go.

What you'll do

  • Game drives through Kruger National Park spotting the big five
  • Scenic stops along the Mpumalanga Panorama Route
  • A 3-hour sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle
  • Guided throughout, so no self-driving or route planning needed
Good to know
  • Plan to arrive the day before the tour starts, as it's roughly a 5-hour drive to the game areas
  • Requires a minimum of 2 adults to run — worth checking with them before booking your date
  • On the last day, avoid booking flights out of OR Tambo before 20:00 for domestic or 21:00 for international, in case of delays getting back
