About this trip
A week that takes in two of Vietnam's most contrasting landscapes, starting in the old streets of Hanoi before heading out to the limestone karsts of Halong Bay for a night on the water.
From there you fly down to the central coast, swapping the capital's noise for the quieter pace of Hoi An's ancient port streets.
It is a short trip with a lot packed in, more a well-paced sampler of north and central Vietnam than a slow explore of either.
