About this trip
Seven days across Nepal's cultural and natural highlights, moving from a hilltop Newari town to lakeside Pokhara, the birthplace of Buddha, and a national park known for its wildlife.
You start in Bandipur, a hilltop settlement where old Newari buildings line the streets and the Himalayas sit on the horizon. From there it's on to Pokhara, set on a lake and used as the jumping-off point for views of the Annapurna range and Fishtail Mountain.
The trip closes with Lumbini, where the Sacred Garden and Maya Devi temple mark Buddha's birthplace, and Chitwan National Park, Nepal's first national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
