About this trip
This is a short trek into the Khumbu region of Nepal, reaching Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa trading town that sits at 3,440 metres in the shadow of the Himalayas. It's built around getting a genuine taste of the region without committing to a long expedition.
You fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, then walk in through the Dudh Koshi valley, past forests of oak and rhododendron, to Namche itself. From there you get a close look at Sherpa culture and some of the best mountain views in the world, before heading back out the way you came.
It suits people who want the Everest region experience — the villages, the monasteries, the views of Everest and Ama Dablam — without a long, demanding trek.
