About this trip
From Marrakech you head into the western High Atlas to climb Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167m. The four days build up gradually, mixing time in Berber villages with mountain walking so you're acclimatised before the final push.
The summit day is a proper hike rather than a technical climb, so no mountaineering experience is needed, but you should expect a long, demanding day on your legs. What you get for it is a wide view over the Atlas range from the top.
