About this trip
Six days travelling overland from Bangkok up to Chiang Mai, taking in some of Thailand's key historical sites along the way. It's a private tour, so it's just you (and whoever you're travelling with) and your guide, moving at your own pace rather than fitting into a big group schedule.
The route runs through Ayutthaya and Phitsanulok before reaching the Golden Triangle, the area where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet, once known as one of the world's major opium-producing regions.
