About this trip
Nine days walking the Galician stretch of the Camino Frances, the best-known route to Santiago de Compostela, in the company of a small group and a guide who knows the trail's history and stories.
Days are spent on foot, following waymarked paths through Galicia's countryside and villages towards the cathedral said to hold the remains of the apostle James. Your luggage is transferred ahead each day, so you walk with just a daypack.
It is as much about the people you meet as the miles you cover — the shared rhythm of walking with pilgrims from all over tends to bring the group together.
