About this trip
This ride takes you from the glacial valleys of South Tyrol down to the shores of Lake Garda, with the jagged peaks of the Dolomites as your near-constant backdrop. Most days are spent on traffic-free cycle paths and quiet country roads, so the focus is on the scenery rather than the effort.
Along the way you stop in alpine towns and villages, with time built in to sample local wines and take things at an easy pace. The trip ends in Verona, where you swap the saddle for a wander through its piazzas.

Worth it if you're a confident cyclist or hire an e-bike and want stunning Dolomite scenery with genuinely excellent guides. Think twice if you're a casual rider—steep climbs and long days will test you.
- Guide Fabio consistently went above and beyond; group bonded quickly thanks to his wit, enthusiasm and genuine care.
- Dedicated cycle lanes through Dolomites, Lake Garda ferry crossing, small villages and vineyards deliver authentic Italian experience outside tourist trails.
- Terrain has steep climbs throughout; unless very fit, e-bike rental is practically essential rather than optional.
- Bring rain gear; Adige valley stages very hot and sun brutal—plan accordingly.
