About this trip
Eleven days across Albania, moving from the capital Tirana out to Ottoman-era towns, ancient ruins and the Adriatic coast. It's a guided sightseeing trip with a good amount of walking, built around history, food and the country's mix of cultures rather than any one theme.
You'll cover a lot of ground — Tirana's layered architecture, the archaeological sites at Butrint and Apollonia, the cobbled streets of Gjirokaster, and the coast and mountains further south, including Llogara National Park and Lake Ohrid.
