Walk Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania

Tallinn → Vilnius 8 days Up to 16

About this trip

Eight days moving through the three Baltic capitals and the wild spaces around them, mixing city wandering with proper walking in national parks and forests.

You will cover Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius on foot, then head out to bigger landscapes: the sand dunes of the Curonian Spit and the forests hiding old fortresses. On July to September departures there is also the chance to try bog walking in Lahemaa National Park.

A moderate-paced trip for people who want their city sightseeing paired with real time outdoors, in a small group with a guide throughout.

What you'll do

  • Walk through Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius old towns
  • Cross the dune landscape of the Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • Explore fortresses tucked into sprawling forests
  • Bog walking in Lahemaa National Park (July to September departures)
  • Visit the largest national parks in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania
Good to know
  • Moderate pace with a mix of city walking and longer hikes
  • Bog walking only runs on July to September departures
  • You change base between the three capitals over the trip
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want knowledgeable guides and a proper mix of nature walks with city culture. Think twice if you prefer a slower pace—8 days is genuinely packed.

  • Guides like Ona and Tauno are exceptionally knowledgeable and make the experience genuinely excellent.
  • Bog walks at Kemeri and Leehma national parks deliver real beauty—peaceful wetland boardwalks, open scenery.
  • Itinerary is genuinely packed; adding buffer days at start and end helps you absorb it properly.
  • Tour lead communication could encourage walkers more actively rather than waiting for tourists to volunteer.
