About this trip
This is a 19-day journey through all five Central Asian republics — Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan — a region shaped by the Silk Road and once fought over by Alexander, Genghis Khan and Tamerlane, among others.
