About this trip
Seven days out of Las Vegas through three of the west's biggest-name National Parks. It's a compact trip, but there's real hiking in it, not just viewpoint stops from a coach window.
You walk among Bryce Canyon's hoodoos, look up at Zion's sandstone walls from the canyon floor, and stand at the rim of the Grand Canyon taking in the scale of it. A Navajo-guided jeep tour through Monument Valley adds a different perspective, and Horseshoe Bend rounds things off.
It moves fast and covers a lot of ground, so expect early starts and a good deal of driving between parks.
What you'll do
- Hike among the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon
- Walk the floor of Zion Canyon beneath its sandstone walls
- Take in the scale of the Grand Canyon from the rim
- Navajo-guided jeep tour through Monument Valley
- See Horseshoe Bend
- Moderate pace with several proper hikes, not just sightseeing stops
- Short trip that covers three parks, so travel days between them are part of the deal
Worth it if you want efficiently paced national parks with strong guides and flexible itineraries. Think twice if you need dietary variety or dislike long van days with large groups.
- Guides consistently went above and beyond—Zach arranged free dinner when Antelope Canyon closed, Abby kept everyone happy, Raene was caring and flexible.
- Van felt cramped with 23 people; food options were monotonous fast food and tex-mex, problematic for gluten-free and those wanting healthier choices.
- Booking communication between TourRadar and G Adventures caused confusion over checklist completeness; sort logistics directly with operator before departure.
- Multiple driving days required despite stunning itinerary; guide knowledge varies—some excel at logistics and personality, others less so on regional history.
