About this trip
Twelve days running the length of Vietnam, from the karsts of Halong Bay down to the waterways of the Mekong Delta, with plenty of time built in to actually meet people along the way rather than just pass through.
You'll sail through Halong Bay on a traditional junk boat, wander Hue and Hoi An, and get hands-on making noodles with a local social enterprise. The pace shifts again in Saigon before you settle into two nights at a community guesthouse in the Mekong Delta, learning from the family who runs it.
It's a mix of classic sights and slower, more personal moments — enough movement to feel like a proper journey through the country, with room to breathe in between.
