About this trip
This 15-day trip covers three very different sides of Ecuador: the volcanic highlands, the Amazon rainforest, and the Galápagos Islands. You start on the mainland with the best part of a week around Cotopaxi National Park, then head into the jungle to slow right down.
From there you canoe along the Napo River to a lodge tucked into the rainforest, spending a couple of days exploring under the canopy before looping back to Quito.
The second week is given over entirely to the Galápagos, exploring by land and sea with plenty of wildlife encounters, plus some kayaking and downtime along the way.
