About this trip
This ten-day trip covers India's classic Golden Triangle - Delhi, Agra and Jaipur - before ending on the beaches of Goa. It's a private, partially guided tour, so you move between cities in your own A/C vehicle with a guide leading the sightseeing.
Expect the big historical sights: Mughal forts, the Taj Mahal at sunset, and the old city chaos of Delhi, plus a rickshaw ride and an elephant ride at Amer Fort along the way. The pace then shifts entirely in Goa, with time for beaches, churches and a slower few days.
Accommodation is standard 3-star throughout, and the private setup makes it a reasonable fit for families or small groups wanting some flexibility.
What you'll do
- Guided walk through Old Delhi's Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk, with a rickshaw ride through the streets
- Sunset visit to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort
- Elephant ride up to Amer Fort in Jaipur, plus City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal
- Stop at the 16th-century Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri
- Explore Goa's Portuguese-era churches and forts, both north and south
- Time on Goa's beaches to close out the trip
- Private tour with your own A/C vehicle, partially guided so some sightseeing is led and some is independent
- Accommodation is standard 3-star
- Front-loaded on history and sightseeing, with Goa as the more relaxed final stretch
Worth it if you want hassle-free logistics and strong driver-guide pairings. Think twice if guide quality consistency matters—some are excellent, others notably unprofessional.
- Drivers and top-tier guides genuinely shine; Bj, Mahendra, and Suneer elevate the entire experience significantly.
- Guide quality is inconsistent—some guides were unprofessional, disorganised, or disengaged during visits despite strong Taj Mahal and Goa guides.
- Operator handles everything end-to-end: flights, hotels, entrance fees, currency, airport pickups—genuinely removes travel stress for first-timers.
- Hotel quality mostly strong, but occasional mismatches occur; operator will swap accommodation if dissatisfied.
