About this trip
Ten days across India's classic Golden Triangle, with a wildlife detour to Ranthambore and a spiritual finish in Varanasi. You cover Delhi, Agra and Jaipur's forts, palaces and monuments, then swap monuments for jungle and, finally, for the ghats of the Ganges.
It's a broad mix — Mughal history, Rajasthani royal architecture, a safari, and one of India's holiest cities all in one trip. Private and partially guided, so you'll have guides at the key sights but some room to move at your own pace.
Good for families or anyone wanting a proper introduction to India without the logistics of stringing it together yourself.
What you'll do
- Guided tour of Delhi's Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar
- See the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, plus the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri
- Explore Jaipur's Amer Fort, City Palace and Hawa Mahal by jeep
- Wildlife safari in Ranthambore National Park
- Evening Ganga Aarti by boat on the Varanasi ghats
- Rickshaw ride through Delhi's old city
- Easy pace, suited to families
- Private tour with guided sightseeing at the main stops
- Covers a lot of ground — five destinations in ten days
Worth it if you value excellent guides and seamless logistics. Think twice if you're fussy about hotel consistency and dietary requirements.
- Drivers stay with you most of trip; Kumar and Rajesh repeatedly praised for safe, courteous service on long road days.
- Guides are genuinely knowledgeable and engaging; Afshana at the fort went above and beyond with patience and storytelling.
- Hotel standards vary wildly—windowless box rooms in Delhi versus spacious havelis in Jaipur; hygiene concerns mentioned.
- Varanasi vegetarian hotel policy not disclosed upfront; no egg options caused frustration for non-vegetarian travellers.
