About this trip
Eight days through Kerala's deep south, moving from the coast up into tea country and back down onto the water. It's a private trip with parts guided along the way, so you get local insight where it counts and space to explore on your own too.
You start in Fort Kochi, with its layered colonial history, then head up to Munnar, where tea plantations cover the hills in every direction. The trip ends with a night aboard a houseboat, drifting through Kerala's palm-fringed backwaters at a properly slow pace.
