About this trip
Seven days moving through Kerala's classic route, from the port city of Cochin up into the hills and back down to the coast. You'll cover a lot of ground but at an easy pace, with six nights giving you proper time in each place rather than a rush through.
The route runs from Cochin to Munnar's tea-covered hills, on to Thekkady for its forests and spice country, then down to the backwaters at Alleppey and finally the beach at Kovalam. It's a good mix of hills, wildlife, water and coast in one trip.
This is a private, partially guided trip, so you get your own vehicle and driver with guided elements along the way rather than a fixed group schedule. It suits families and anyone wanting a relaxed, flexible way to see the state, including over Christmas and New Year.
