The End of the World + El Chalten w/Bus

Ten days through the far south of Patagonia, moving between four distinct landscapes at your own pace. This is a self-guided trip, so you get the routes and logistics sorted but walk the trails and cover the ground on your own schedule, without a group.

You start in El Chalten, a base for some of the best day hikes in Argentina, then head to El Calafate to stand in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. From there you cross into Chile for a full day in Torres del Paine before finishing in Ushuaia, at the tip of Tierra del Fuego, with a boat trip out to the Beagle Channel.

The pace is yours to set. It suits people who want the big Patagonian landscapes without being tied to a group's timetable, but who are comfortable managing their own days once the transport and accommodation are arranged.

What you'll do

• Trek to the base of Mt Fitz Roy or to Laguna Torre in El Chalten
• Stand before the Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentine Patagonia
• Spend a full day in Torres del Paine National Park in southern Chile
• Walk the trails of Tierra del Fuego National Park, where the Andes meet the Atlantic
• Take a boat tour on the Beagle Channel to the End of the World Lighthouse
