About this trip
Eight days across four of Nepal's best-known destinations, built around family sightseeing rather than trekking. You move between the temples of Kathmandu, the jungle and villages of Chitwan, the lakes and mountain views of Pokhara, and the sunrise viewpoint at Nagarkot.
It's a private, partially guided tour, so you get some flexibility alongside local guiding at each stop, with the pace geared towards travelling as a family or small group rather than covering ground fast.
What you'll do
- Visit the palaces, temples and stupas of Kathmandu Valley
- Take a jungle safari and visit Tharu villages in Chitwan
- See the lakes, caves and waterfalls around Pokhara
- Watch sunrise or sunset from the viewpoint at Nagarkot
- Private tour with partially guided days, so some sightseeing is on your own time
- Covers four separate destinations in 8 days, so expect regular travel between bases
