About this trip
Five days in and around Cusco, built around the two things most people come to Peru for: the city itself and Machu Picchu. It's fully guided throughout, with a moderate pace suited to first-timers, families, or anyone who'd rather not plan logistics in the Andes themselves.
You'll spend time in Cusco's old streets and key historic sites before heading out to the Sacred Valley, taking in Inca engineering at Moray and the market town of Chinchero. The trip builds towards Machu Picchu itself, saving the biggest sight for when you're already tuned into the history around it.
