About this trip
Six days covering the core of Cusco and its surrounds, from Inca history in the city to the high-altitude scenery of Rainbow Mountain, with Machu Picchu at the centre of it all.
You start in Cusco itself, taking in the Cathedral, Koricancha and the stone walls of Sacsayhuaman, before moving into the Sacred Valley for a mix of Inca sites and Andean landscape.
The final days bring the two big-ticket destinations, Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain, giving you both the classic cultural highlight and a proper mountain day out.
