About this trip
Seven days through the Canadian Rockies, travelling the Icefields Parkway as it winds past the glaciers, lakes and peaks that make this stretch of Alberta and BC so well known. It is a sightseeing-led trip, easy in pace, with a guide handling the logistics so you can focus on the views.
Expect a lot of blue — Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and Peyto Lake all feature — alongside glacier walks, a lake cruise, and a mountaintop gondola ride over Banff. There is also a guided walk exploring Indigenous knowledge of local plants and medicine within Banff National Park.
This suits travellers who want the big Rockies landmarks covered without organising a self-drive, with a group and leader doing the route planning.

- Visiting in July or August means mosquito and black fly season, so bring insect repellent
- On May, early June, September and October departures, some gondolas, hikes or rafting may be closed due to snow, though these months are quieter — your leader will suggest alternatives if needed
