Sydney to Cairns Adventure

This 15-day journey traces almost the entire east coast of Australia, from Sydney up to Cairns, covering around 2500 km of coastline, rainforest and outback fringe. It's a group trip with a fully guided structure, so you cover a lot of ground while getting to know the people you're travelling with.

You'll start with wine tasting in the Hunter Valley and koala spotting in Dorrigo National Park, then move through Byron Bay before crossing into Queensland for the Atherton Tablelands, the Whitsundays and K'gari. There are some long travel days built in, including an overnight train, but they're treated as part of the experience rather than dead time.

By the end you'll have strung together beaches, wilderness and a fair chunk of Australian road between two very different cities.
