About this trip
Seven days running from Hanoi down to Hoi An, mixing capital city history with a night afloat on Halong Bay and a few slower days on the central coast.
You start in Hanoi with its French colonial streets and Old Quarter, then head out to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise among the limestone karsts. From there you fly south to Hoi An, trading temples and traffic for lantern-lit lanes, river life, and a day trip up into the hills.
It's a private, partially guided trip, so there's room to move at your own pace, which suits families or anyone travelling with a small group who'd rather not join a big coach tour.
